Before you connect Gmail
Your inbox stays yours.
Ugodia is here to help with your brand deals, not to look through your life. Here is exactly what happens when you connect Gmail, in plain words.
What Ugodia can never do
- Delete or change your emailsUgodia doesn't even ask Google for that permission. Everything in your inbox stays exactly as it is.
- Send anything without youAn email goes out only when you press Send for that email, from your own Gmail. Nothing is sent automatically.
- Sell or share your emailsNo ads, no selling, no sharing with brands. Your emails are not used to train AI.
- Let people read your inboxNo one at Ugodia reads your emails, unless you ask us for help and say it's okay (or for security or legal reasons).
What happens after you connect
- 1You choose on Google's screenGoogle shows you what Ugodia asks for: reading emails, and sending only when you press Send. Prefer read-only? Leave out sending and copy the drafts into Gmail yourself.
- 2Newsletters and notifications are skippedNewsletters, automatic emails, "no-reply" messages and the emails you sent are skipped right away. They are never analyzed.
- 3A quick check: is this from a brand?Your other recent emails (last 7 days) get a short AI check that answers only one question: is this a brand email? If not, nothing about it is saved, only an ID number so it isn't checked twice.
- 4Brand emails go into your private workspaceBrand emails are saved so Ugodia can show the offer, the fee and the dates, and write your reply. Their full text is deleted automatically 90 days after the deal is finished. The original always stays in your Gmail.
- 5Only you can see your accountEvery account is locked to its owner, and we test this automatically.
You stay in control
One tap in Settings → Gmail. Ugodia also tells Google to cancel its access right away.
Settings → Account → Delete account removes your account and all your data in one step.
Ugodia checks only the last 7 days on its own. Looking at older emails (30, 60 or 90 days) happens only when you start it.
Why does Google say "Google hasn't verified this app"?
Ugodia is new. Every app that reads Gmail must pass Google's review, including an independent security assessment, before this warning goes away. Ugodia's review is in progress.
Until then, Google shows this screen to the creators we invite. To continue, tap "Advanced" and then "Go to ugodia.com".
